The english version (Tales of Destiny II) works fine in ePSXe.

sanperce,
Seems like a driver problem for me. You might try re-installing the drivers for your video card, or using a different version of the drivers.

Cosmic3K is correct, even having installed different drivers will not change anything. (believe me, i downloaded all the fast detonators out there but none worked. :( ) btw, i use the d3d drivers and it works great :)

ps. i tested this on a TNT2 M64 & GeForce 2 MX 200

Yep Pete's OGL driver doesn't work during ToD battles.
Pete's D3D driver works except in City of Scorched Sand, Chambard.
So you have to use Pete's Soft driver (maybe OGL driver might also work since there is no battle) in this town^_^;

Be grateful that you can still be able to play the game.

Hmm, some conversations are text-only, right?

Well, as you all know, all plugins are created to serve a particular purpose. One plugin that may work great on a particular game, may not serve as well for another. Even then, none of your games will ever run perfectly sanperce. If you want your games to run perfectly, stick to a playstation, not an emulator. In any case, just have a good time!:) :cool:

Hmmm

Pete has made some adjustments to his OpenGL that could possibly alleviate this... Download the new release version 1.54 and read the changes...He has added some of the features from his D3D that prevented crashing...Hopefully this will correct the problem...Let us know if it works...

I wish Pete would fix his SPU's voice conversation overlapping problem.
If Pete doesn't have the game, I guess it won't happen^_^;
I hate to switch to Eternal SPU to hear near perfect conversation in the game and surround background sfx.

As I said earlier in this thread, no plugin is absolutely perfect for any game. The omly way to experience the full potential of any game, you must use the Playstation itself. No emulator can compare. Emulators are just convienient substitutes for the real thing.

Sounds, but graphics? The psx can't compare to psx emus.. I do have the real thing as well.. But I much rather play psx games on psx emus..

Yes. But that is at the cost of other features. If your top prioroty is graphics, then, of course, that's fine. But every plugin has weaknesses as well as srengths. For instance, Pete's OpenG has, as you said, excellent graphics, but it often freezes for a split second before a transition. The freeze is so short that it is torlerable, but it still kinda annoys me.
