hey:

I found that playing fighting games with a gamdpad and an arcade stick can be very different, so I decided that I must get an arcade stick somehow, and here's my plan:

I am going to get a psx-to-pc controller adaptor, then I am going to buy an arcade stick for playstation in compusa, then I am going to kick more asses in the real arcade :D. I saw those psx-to-pc controller USB adaptors on http://cyberpad.psxemu.com/, and I am dying to buy one, but I am something that I am afraid of, that I had bough a few other USB gamepad before, but can't even get close to the performance of my Creative gameport GamePad, :: is it true that gameport has better porformance than USB for gamepads ??:: if you have experience with any of the PSX-to-PC adaptors can you tell me if it works smoothly please?

or if you know any other ways that I can play games with an arcade stick on my computer, please share it with me :) thank you very much

Isn't it better to just get an Arcade-Style joystick for the PC?

Anyway, I don't have a PSX-To-USB adaptor (I use a homemade PSX-To-Parallel Port adaptor), but I also have two USB Gamepads (SideWinders) and they work perfectly.

well, happy that your problem's solved, but still wanted to comment:

appolo? never heard of it... any good?
i got myself an Interact PC Arcade Pro before they completely disappeared. works great.

i guess you're not into MAME, because everyone in that community knows, for best arcade-like experience, without building a cab, you should get a HotRod
