Im not the brightest in the world, but I try my best to find the solution to every problem I run across. In this case its ants. OMG if humans had half the will power ants had we would already be colonizing Saturn. anyway thats not the point of topic, topic is...once they march towards something inside your house...and you spray/clean/spray/clean/pray/Goto 1 they still seem to return lol anybody ever had success in this? Im not a dirty person and my wife is a clean freak. Ants are just nasty Help meh :eyemove:

The exterminator said during peak times ants are next to impossible to completely keep out especially during a dry season. So far I bought some of that ant repel gel and applied to the window frame where they have been coming in from, so far so good.

Not totally I have used the gel in the past and its only a temp fix they find another way in lol

If its possible, kill them outside. Spray your lawn with insectasides(sp?) kill those buggers before they get to your house. I had same problem a couple years back.

Agreed... he isn't limited to insects only, he also works on religious people, people in general, Bush, Kaiser Sigmas, Ellys amongst others... for further detail read the instruction paper that comes with the package.

But I do have another suggestion. Read Journey to the Ants: A Story of Scientific Exploration , by E.O.Wilson, and be amazed by the details he brings up about ants in general (their colonies, their mating habits, their castes... everything). Maybe you'll be so fascinated by them that you'll give up trying to exterminate them and become a myrmecologist.

Now, if you're interested in a more technical (and expensive ) book, don't forget to pick up The Ants , also by E.O.Wilson (the same guy who wrote "Consilience" and "Sociobiology" - a truly outstanding invididual). But if you're only an amateur in science, begin with Journey to the Ants. You won't be disappointed.

Boltzmann does quick researches on Google to sound smart before he posts :lol: Im just fooling with you Boltz. anyway I went super saiyan on the ant hills today outside found 3 and blasted them to kingdom come with some clorox/ant killer/anmonia so far so good..at least now instead of coming in they'll have time to rebuild if anys left lol
