Hello,

I'm a bit surprised. On the one hand you publish the Emulator under the terms of the GPL. On the other hand you have some google ads included. And within those ads there are links to Microsofts anti Linux campaign. Isn't it a bit contradictory?

PCSX2 cant control the ads that are shown threw the ad system. If you really dont like the ads you can donate to the team so that they dont need to use them.

Seriously... :???:

that's retarded. we have no alliances with either propriatory or open-source models. Just because we chose the open-source model doesn't mean we're anti-propriatory and it doesn't mean that we won't choose propriatory models in the future. Honestly people are way too up-in-arms against microsoft.

whoever has access to adsense for PCSX2's site, i suggest finding the link for the "anti linux" or whatever site and put it in the block ad list

One year ago, I wouldn't have mentioned this, but today Microsoft is trying to stop Open Source at all. So If you choose the Open Source Model and simultaneously advertise for microsoft, you're hurting yourself.

Hey guess what. PCSX2 is compiled with Microsoft Visual C++. Imagine that! So does this mean I can start making some outrageous claim about how everybody who uses it is now anti-Linux?

I suppose yes :)

OK, that is still a bit different. But advertising for an anti-Linux campaign is in any case a bit anti-Linux, isn't it?

Oh boy, not another "What you are using Microsoft, you stupid lamer" person who thinks he is so ingenious, because he helps saving the world through fighting the bad, bad, bad Microsoft-Company and only using Open Source because its just the answer to everything. I have seen so many of your type before on so many places and now you even reached the PCSX2-Forum. Ok, maybe iam overreacting and exaggerating and i apologize for that but it just pisses me off.

Finally i have revealed my black, contaminated heart. Flame me now, i deserve it.

PCSX2 supports a campaign against itself? It's more like it is SUPPORTED by the campaign because PCSX2 is getting something to put on the ads, not paying something to put the ads on...
You can be supported by something but not support it (or be against it).

Why are you mixing it up? All I said is that PCSX2 supports a campaign against itself. Now, I don't see why you have to attack me therefore.
Ugh..

It's YOUR liberty, MY liberty and OURS liberty to choose Open Source Model on monday and to choose a propriatory model on tuesday.

Nothing hurts.

Please dont support intolerance. And dont let ads manipulate your brain.

Note : Bill Gates's war is not ours, sorry.
