This is how i fixed my issue but here's the tutorial anyway...
First get this PPSSPP version: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B1ftGc2t9-dZbjdnRnhnaUtZalk/edit?usp=sharing
Also you need: SonicStage v4.3 Ultimate Edition http://depositfiles.com/files/9sedmdd7e and OpenMG v5.4 http://download.sony-asia.com.edgesuite.net/vaio/downloads/374980/EP0000214219.exe
And lastly you need: OpenMG v4.7 http://www.mediafire.com/?pn54rw6m9n1nhmr
Before starting remember to uninstall SonicStage and OpenMG.
-
1. Install "SonicStage v4.3 Ultimate Edition" (This will also install "OpenMG v5.0")
2. Restart
3. Update to "OpenMG v5.4" (Not sure if updating to this version is really necessary...)
4. Restart
5. Remove "OpenMG v5.4" from: Control Panel > Programs and Features
6. Restart
7. Open "Regedit" (type regedit in the search box to open it...) and delete "OpenMG" from this location:
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Sony Corporation

8. Close "Regedit"
9. Also delete the folder "OpenMG" from this location:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Sony Shared\
10. Install "OpenMG v4.7" (because that's the only version that doesn't crash PPSSPP)
11. Restart
Also remember to have the "at3tool.exe" and "msvcr71.dll" inside the folder "at3tool" because it decodes audio that "SonicStage" and "OpenMG" fails to do in PPSSPP.
(Example: With the "at3tool" you can hear the voices in "Mega Man Maverick Hunter X")
More info about the "at3tool" decoder here: http://www.ngemu.com/forums/showthread.php?t=156379
And as always, the emulator is still in development so some games will probably have missing audio.
Edit: Fixed some typos.
