Does anyone know an emulator that supports action replay for GBA? I've downloaded the following and none seem to work:

Visualboy Advance
Bat GBA
Dream GBA
AGD
IGBABETA
CowBite VIII

Any suggestions? Thanks!

Action Replay DOES work on Visual Boy advance, as GameShark, as they are the same...yeesh
When I put the code:

72bc6dfb
e9ca5465
56671f3a
6f4f4d6b
8d671fd9
6f6beff2
78da95df
44018cb4
6b5aeec6
f80e49bc
1c7b3231
b494738c

into the GameShark cheat section, this message appears.

"Invalid GSA Code. Format is XXXXXXXXYYYYYYYY."

Why?

Enter the code like this:

72bc6dfbe9ca5465
56671f3a6f4f4d6b
8d671fd96f6beff2
78da95df44018cb4
6b5aeec6f80e49bc
1c7b3231b494738c

That should work, the error just means that you need to input the values as one line.
Action Replay codes are usually two lines code
xxxxxxxx
yyyyyyyy

but the emu's loook for the code in a different format xxxxxxxxyyyyyyyy

Hope that helps.

BTW use VBA and on the cheat menu just select add code not Gameshark or the other one, this tends to work better.

The dual-line AR codes work fine when you click the gameshark button and enter them as 2 lines (did that in pokemon leaf to get a bunch of legendaries).

PKing- AR and gameshark aren't the same anymore. AR1/2 and GS1/2 are the same, but AR3 is different, and GS SP is different (although GS SP is now like CB, uses the same hard/software, the only actual differenc is in the encryptions).

It happened many months ago. I think it was right around a year ago.
VBA still supports AR (although the AR v3 support had to be added), just enter them as GS codes.

Well, I'm confused, because I used Game Shark, and some of my Action Replay codes work, and some don't, should I re-enter them in the Codes section or what.

Though, no one is probably gonna answer because this was in 2004. Well whatever
