sometimes when i do run cd-rom it says on the dos window that cd-rom is open but it's not, it's in there,i use pete's cd-rom plugin version 1.51, and i have to restart the computer when this happens to get it working again

You'd better use the internal cdrom plugin,it just doesn't give me any error.
