Will this fan fit on an AMD Phenom II X4 940 Deneb 3.0GHz processor?

Yea I clicked the Specs tab but saw only the 939 / 754 processors after the AMD Socket AM2 /AM2+ part. So I wasn't sure if it covered ALL AM2+ or not.

There is no size differences in the Socket AM2/AM2+/AM3 standard. If it's supposed to fit, then it will.

I've been a long-time user of Thermaltake heatsinks, so I trust them. Worst case scenario you'll have to do a little bit a wiggling to get the heatsink in place.
