first, I have ps2
second, I read rules a few times
third, I read faq
next, I searched through forum and read configuration guide
and I can`t still run properly pcsx2 :/
I downloaded all plugins, I made iso, I have original dvds too but I have got some problems
when I try to load iso, I get black screen and my cpu works for full (99%). I get the same when I load dvd
I know 99% of games don`t work but I tried to load some games whose somebody else 'had played' e.g. Disgaea in which two persons was playing succesful but I got black screen and cpu usage 99%. These was shown about 20 fps but nothing appered. I have similar class of computer. Ps2 menu works.
I have got no idea what I may be doing inproperly. I wonder it is just that on some computer it works fine and on other it doesn`t work at all

PS I hope I haven`t break any forum rules - if yes, just delete the post

games dont load instantly, so patience is required too!

also if you are using GSDX9 make sure your graphics card supports direct x 9, if it doesnt, change the setting to software render.

my card supports dx9 so the problem isn`t here

the patience may be good idea because I don`t have it too much I will leave computer for some time to be sure

what you saw of Disgaea were shots
from the coming version 0.8
so wait till they release this version and then you may be able to play some games

and (just saying) don't start asking about when will they release it
because it's against the rules
so be patient

I have seen a lot of posts where people asked "when will be release" and your replies to such questions so I`m not going to ask and I will be waiting peacefully

besidesi in combatibility section there is version 0.7 and comment "almost fine" about Disgaea

maybe it is high time to repair my ps2 although I`m really interested in this emulator - you do good job and progress and I look forward to see fully working ps2 emulator because it`s little depressing that ps2 games aren`t still working on pc

it will come in time my friend, couple more years and PS2 emulation should be at the same level as PSX emulation! Its a very tough one to do, but they are getting there, altho im sure you will be very happy with 0.8 for a while
