Hi there dear Emulation Community^^,

Lately, I dug up some of my oldies and found Alien Resurrection(couldn't even remember that I had that..). I discovered that this game supports Mouse Control, so I made an image(tested it, it works flawless) and changed the pad in the 1st port to digital/mouse.
The game starts normally, but controller configuration is somehow broken then... The menu shows an option for Mouse Settings, but it's grayed out. The mouse is just not recognized by the game. Is there a known way to fix this? Maybe a specific setting within ePSXe?

Thanks in advance

Thank you Squall,
I tested both methods, pressing F5 as well as the alternate epsxe_m.exe, but both do not seem to work, at least not with Alien Res. I'll look, maybe I have another game which supports mouse control so I can test if it works in general.

Ah yes, almost forgot, pressing F5 ingame changes the input method to mouse, but Alien Res will get very slowly then(about 5fps) and the game does not recognize any input anymore. Pressing F5 again to switch back to digital however reverts this behavior.

I tested epsxe with Discworld 2(another game I never knew it would support the mouse...), and it works indeed, so it must be game specific. In other words, Alien Resurrection is not working with the mouse. Suppose a special fix is necessary for this.

Thank you anyway for your help^^
