i was wondering if anyone could tell me the pros and cons of using air conditioning in a pc. I plan on overclocking an intel dual core cpu when I can get my hands on one so I know that I'm gonna need to find a good way to keep it cool.

Well a standard air conditioner can produce some moisture, so using one for a PC would not be smart. PC + Moisture = Bad Idea

Even ones that state they have 'no drip' features or whatnot still produce minimal moisture and condensation.

Look for PC based alternatives designed with PC's and electric components in mind.
I call Ballocks.

Air conditioners are commonly used as dehumidifiers. Yes, they gather the moisture in one place - and they also remove the moisture from their surroundings. All you do is place the AC away from the computer, and route the venting through the box.

Have you considered something like the Antec P180 as an alternative?
