I want to know how to differentiate between AGP 1.0 and AGP 2.0? I mean, like last time I bought a GForce 2, trying to put it into my ol' Gigabyte m/board which supports Celeron 300 MHz.. and it failed! So, I suspect that my AGP was 1.0.. But how to know the difference? Thanks in advance!

I would advise you to go to intel' site for info about that. But to cut it short, check the speed of your AGP slot. If it goes up to 4x, probably it has AGP 2.0. Check the mobo manual or the manufacturer site ;)

I have a 440BX board (which originally housed a Celeron 366) which only supports AGP 2X and my GeForce 2 Pro works perfectly on it. SiSoft Sandra tells me my AGP bus version is 1.0
