well......i have had acne problem since i was 13 didnt really bother about it util someitme back i have tried most of the benzoly things and herbal things and diet control thingy...none of them work but my acne had gradually became less and now there are a lot of marks on the skin.I have only one choice now
1.i would have to undego subscission and polishing

problem is that would cost a lot of $$(17,000 rupees, that would buy me a new computer :p)......

so here my question does any of u guys know about a cheaper acne treatment than the subscission thingy and those who have undergone subscission thingy is it worth it?

the only thing which heals scars/scarring is time and moisturiser.
Yeah I know some products hun. Thats one of the perks of being a woman. :) I'll PM you everything I can, k? :) I just need to find all the information I can about my treatments I use. I'll send you a PM in a few hours.
Kaizen had a thread about this in the bin.

I believe it was called Sharp.
Since we can't post links to the bin, PM me if you want it. The product discussed is 'Derma Rollers'
i have a problem with acne too because of my genes. Currently im using Differin, aczone, and some antibacterial. they're basically the best of acne products out there at the moment. They still dont work well haha
Yeah, I didn't like Differin. It'd hurt my skin a lot and burn it. I stopped using it after a couple of days. Benzeclin (i think that is the name) is what i use now after I wash my face. I love it.
there are more like me :p.......thanks bree and chessus.....would be looking into da suggestions
Isotretinoin + Erythromycin + Neutrogena acne wash seems to be doing the trick for me. Worked well for my cousin too for removing scars.

They're a bit expensive though; 10g of Isotretinoin gel costs Rs.350 and the Neutrogena face wash costs Rs.450 for 250ml. They do last for at least 4-6 months if you use them carefully though.

ii have used erythromycin and isotretinoin once before didn't get sud results...but heck i am yet to try neutrogena face wash(the same one in which prachi sardesai comes in its promo ?? :p)
I had acne when I was about 14/15 really badly. None of those bull**** creams worked at all.

I went and saw a dermatologist who said if I gave up soft drinks (Soda) my skin would clear up a fair amount and washed my face often (she suggested doing it after I washed my hands after going to the bathroom as a easy way to do it often).

After drinking nothing but water for about 2 months my skin really started to clear up (As well as me dropping some weight) its a habbit I try to still do today (in my 20's) but I can never be bothered, but if my skin was that bad, its what worked for me.

As for scaring as Squall said time and moisturizer.
