Do any of those ISO-creating-programs out there differ in any way? I mean, would one prog create a "better" CD image of some kind? If no then why do some of them have limitations and require you to buy, since you could do the same work with each of all the free ones?

Which one do you use?

I usaily use alcohol 120% as it allows me to burn disc backups without needing to use anti copyprotection measures

i use Alcohol 120% because it does a lot of things, not just image making. plus, when you do make images with it, it has a lot of presets, i.e. a Playstation preset so it basically does all the work for you, and you end up with a good ISO.

So the output ISO differs from program to program?

well, it shouldnt. your disc has the same data on it no matter what, right? but, some programs dont read it correctly, or show errors due to the way the PSX CD is (like with its weird copy protection), plus some programs just have a better interface.

alcohol 120% is simply the best program to use for making images
