don't worry, once the texture is done, if there's really a problem, we'll just have to change the nameI just don't want a bunch of people's hard work to suddenly get ruined if we find a bug.
It uses the CPU for converting the files to something the GPU can read, but it caches textures so there should be minimal lag when loading them.I love where this is going. Maybe I'll go and buy myself one of these LG drives so I can rip my games and test GC emulation with textures replacement.
Just one question. Does this use only GPU, or CPU and GPU for the textures rendering?
I don't think that will happen but I appreciate the concern. Rest assured, I'm warned so should anything happen that makes my present textures useless in the future revisions, I'll have me to blame.I just don't want a bunch of people's hard work to suddenly get ruined if we find a bug.
Yeah, last night I was thinking tha same thing. If there's any eventual bug maybe just a simple renaming could do the trick.don't worry, once the texture is done, if there's really a problem, we'll just have to change the name![]()
THANK YOOOUUUU :thumb: LOL XD Man Utd Link :eyemove:It's really easy, first you'll have to check "dump textures", preferably before loading the game.
Then you should disable "EFB Copy" otherwise, each EFB frame will be saved as a new texture which is of no use.
Then every loaded textures will be saved under User/Dump/Textures.
Once the textures are dumped, you can modify them and put then under User/Load/Textures. Then they'll be automatically loaded in place of the real ones if "Load Hires textures" is checked
It's really as simple as that!

Yes, since the textures are dumped uncompressed, they do take up a lot of space. Also, be careful of FMV in games, because the texture dumper isn't very smart and dumps every individual frame to your hard drive, and that can add up very fast.nobody says nothing about the space in the hard drive for the dump textures... for my smash brawl the space in the texture file its more less 400 MB..., maybe this option its only for the people with a really big hard drive space...
