yes the FPS is real, altho not sustained, in VU-rec it can vary between 15-40fps, depending where you are in the levels

Most battles range from 12-21 FPS, 'Areas' range from 15-45 FPS, menus / 2D logos, 49-75 FPS.

FFX and X-2 are still not playable for long periods of time, due to video support lacking (for now ), spu2 bugs, that cause the game to lock up, and missing terrain parts.

I will now crush alot of people (sorry), by saying that this speed can only be achieved with vuREC, and vuREC requires SSE2, so folks, you need a CPU that supports SSE2 :evil:

Sweet! I have SSE2, but its still not a great comp. O well, The shots still look amazing!

A little off topic, but a note: I've been hanging out in the channel, and Kingdom Hearts is starting to do more as well. Squaresoft games are coming along nicely. But nothing tops FFX doing that speed in VURec.
