I've had a Lite-On for years and it has never failed me, so I label that brand as 'good'. I recently bought a NEC dvd burner and so far I haven't had any problems. My advice would be to buy a DVD burner instead of a CD burner, the difference in costs is minimal.

lol, sorry, I meant programs to used to burn cds, like Nero?
Any good free ones?
Considering that this was posted in Software discussion, I'm surprised nobody realized what you were asking for.:p If you're looking for free, can't really say I know of too many, other than the one built into other software, like Win Media Player and Winamp.

Well, what are some good ones you would have to pay for?
I'll look into buying it.
I use Ahead Nero. It does every type of disc known to man. Akthough 7 is the newest one, try to get Ultra 6. The new version has alot of bloat.:p Definitely an all in one.:)
