Ok, first off, I'm having problems with the memory card. It successfully saves, but then when I turn off the game, and go to play it again, it says there is no Vagrant Story data on the memory card. I figured I'd use the save states to fix this, but you need to save when placing items in the container.....items are lost from the container if the save games are lost. :( Does anyone know what's wrong?

Second problem: In the cutscenes (where you see Ashley's family getting killed) I cannot see what they are saying. A black box pops up for about a tenth of a second, and then disappears...is this supposed to happen? What can I do to fix it?

Here are my video specs:

well..... might not be the solution you want to hear, but anyway...

try VGS, when I saw time killer playing it, it seemed to be OK... then I asked him and he said that it was better with it, even if the graphics were pixelled.. blah, blah, blah...

you better ask him... I rather use epsxe for playing...
