Sorry for opening 2 threads in such a short span of time, but I didn't wanna mess up the issues :p

Anyway, about my fan. Whenever I try to boot my computer up, the 9800 fan won't move. I have to manually give the fan a little push to get it going. However, if the fan is already spinning and I reboot the computer, it'll still be spinning. This is seriously frustrating me. There are times when I forgot to start the fan, I went straight to WoW and it just hanged on me at a crucial time :hdbash:

I'm using a Sapphire 9800pro btw. Any ideas what's happening?

its probably clogged up...happens to my chipset fan all the time because of my dogs shedding and getting sucked into fans. Try cleaning it out. And i have that exact card (flashed bios to XT) and the stock fan isn't that good at all. i reccomend getting an ATI or Artic Silencer (can't remember what the latest is)
Nope, it's not that problem. The fan refused to start from the very first moment I plugged it into my system. Yeah, I know the stock fan sucks, but finances don't really allow for the purchase of a new fan atm..

But the funny thing is, I thought it was a problem with the card, so I brought it back to the shop, hoping to get it replaced. But they plugged it into their system, and it worked perfectly fine. They even shutdown and powered up, and it was still fine. I don't think it's a problem with the power supplied, as I tried booting only with my graphic card and mobo powered, but to no avail
