Hey, I don't have a problem this time, just a simple question...
what's the difference between the 6800XT and the 6800LE?
They both have 8 pipelines, 256 bit bus, and probably same RAM :s
Any idea? Is it just an insult from NV to Ati because they made a X800GT?

Yeah, right, but I still wonder why differs between XT and LE cards except for their name :s

LE would usually mean Light Edition, so there's probably a little less to that card. Maybe less GPU/memroy clock speed or something along those lines. Not sure really though, as I haven't looked into either of these cards yet.:p

pretty much just random things. just look at the specific specs of different cards with same numbers (6800LE and XT) and compare them. most likely they are crap anyway, at least go for the normal version or ultra (which you have anyway! so dont bother)

I'm using my normal 6800 thanks, but when I saw an announcement for the XT and read that it uses 8 pipelines, I thought "yeah... did they just rename the LE to XT?"
I don't plan to buy any of these cards, it's just curiosity ^^
