So, I've been shopping around for a new video card and I'vd decided on getting the 6800nu. Well I've looked at alot of them and I'm stuck between two different cards.

There is the Gigabyte 6800 which is fanless, and the evga. The Evga is cheaper, but would be louder, and the Gigabyte comes with 3 games as well. Do you think it would get too hot not having a fan? It seems to have a pretty decent heat sink.

it might depend on your pc casing and your environment temperature itself. but i think its better to have a card with a fan, recent drivers for nvidia right now tends to increase temperature specially for the 6800 series (as reported in guru3d forums)

BTW, my 100th post!!!

Congradualtion Viper!

Yeah, I think it would be better to go with something that has a fan. And when I ordered my 6600gts that are made from chaintech, newegg didnt show that it came with a game. But right when I got it there was a copy of Pain killer in each.
