I've never even heard of a GENUINE 30+ PC MONITOR.....(just once, but it's gone)

So unless I use a TV, I'm S.O.L.

1366 x 768 = low res = icons will fill your screen quick

Seriously. Get a smaller tv (or monitor) with a higher quality and resolution. You're gonna "I need big!" yourself into a crappy display.

We might be lookin at 1500.00 here for a 1080p LCD Monitor of the 42" magnitude.....

I want it to be at least 20" high , that way I'm not taking a step back


the Trinitron is currently 20" x 26 wide...

42" = 21" high x 36" or so wide

Can any desktop computer graphics card even output 1080p??????

I heard it only does 720p at best...therefore TRUE HDTV ain't attainable, at least not off your computer anyway...... and believe me that's what it'll be hooked up to....

Don't have a Blu-ray player or other HDMI source or whatever... or a PS3 for that matter.......

The standard for WQXGA states that the display must have a resolution of 2560x1600. 1080p display devices are technically 16:9 WUXGA...

I'm also 99% sure that there's no 42" Syncmaster in existence and no Samsung display has a refresh rate below 120Hz with a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio.

This PC Monitor I was considering on Wednesday is a WuXGa or whatever...

Can a TV be WuXga?????? Or does it really mean anything in the end?????
