i have a 40" 1080p hdtv as my PC monitor and its awesome.
you do have to sit further away from it though (i sit like ~4 feet away).
also i turned the backlight all the way down, or else its way too bright.
especially on websites with white backgrounds.
but for gaming and watching anime, its awesome <3
(you need a powerful graphics card if you want to game at 1920x1080 though)
anyways its the best thing i've ever bought in my life, and i'm glad i bought it.
