Funny, I was joking about dual core in SLI on the XBOX 360 thread.

And I hate you too.
on a more serious note tho: how much would the CPU be bottlenecking this kinda system? iirc, even in this generation with 2 cards in sli, the cpu is often times a bottleneck no?
dude thats just dumb... why not just make one crazy good card like the xbox 360 has

The cpu can be a bottleneck for just one card, like it is on my rig. But that is probably because this cpu wont run above 1.8 stable, otherwise I would have oc'ed it. However, all of my games run between 60 to 90 fps, so the bottleneck is not really noticable. I am satisfied with just one card, so I see no reason to have four cards running in SLi. It is cool to hear about it though.

More times than not. It is.
2 cards in SLI is already enough, what next 10 cards in SLI with the dual core cards or something, what are there trying to do. have it do people get like 1000fps all max out with even hdr on or something.

your computer is gonna be ver hot with them 4 cards in there , open your case and turn it into a space heater for the winter time ;)
I wouldn't say two cards is enough as in power bceause graphics are always improving, but I do agree we shouldn't just start adding cards here and there...for reasons of heat and room. Also it may make the leaps in technologys slower...

And I do use my computer as a heater in winter, turn down the fan speeds and watch it heat the room....
