Hi,

I tried to compile the emulator 'Virtual Jaguar 2.1.0' on linux ( kubuntu 64bits ).
It does not compile out of the box i had to tweak some parts:

- version.h does not exists, i had to create it mysql and add the 2 release defines
- m68k was not built, i had to go in src/68000 and call make, then copy copy the lib to ROOT/obj
- jaguarcore was not automatically building, i had to compil it manually (make -f jaguarcore.mak)
- Then for the final thing: qmake && make -j 6

I now have a working build, but joysticks does nots works.
Any hint ?

Btw, i 'm a long time Qt expert, i could help you improve the build port if you want, just ask me.
You can found me on irc://irc.freenode.net/qt under the nick pasnox.

Regards,

Hi pasnox, was there no Makefile in the 2.1.0 tarball? :) It's supposed to do all the stuff that you did by hand. ;)

Some joysticks are really analog pretending to be digital, and I was unaware of this in the 2.1.0 release but this will be fixed in 2.1.1. In the meantime, if you have git, you can pull a copy of the current development sources (which has the analog joystick fixes) with:
Code:
git clone http://shamusworld.gotdns.org/git/virtualjaguar
Thanks for the offer of help with Qt, I can use all the help I can get. :thumb:
