your olny use render api :d3dx9,but that reall have a problem
please oneself test this game:1716 - Kirby & The Amazing Mirror (U)
use vba 1.7 and use VisualBoyAdvanceM904
maybe my image not said any deed,but should please your test and fix it;)

Uh?

If filters are in use then these will indeed cause transparency issues.

Thats not a bug, your gfx card is not fast enough to render the game using a hardware mode and so it is using frame skipping to compensate, which prevents the star from flickering as it rotates.

vba-m is already faster than vba is for the most part, theres not much more that can be done.

if the frame skipping bugs you that badly, then you can try nogba.

Not worth the time in the current mess the code is :p.

you have to be using some pretty ancient hardware to need frameskipping though...
