i want to advise that GT4 Pal with latest builds has a BSOD problem.
THe game start, i choose a car and a race. The race start ( with the usual black and white points ) i can see the clear graphic of cars and tracks.
After two or three seconds the games stops, after few seconds again the mouse freeze and then BSOD pointing at nvdisp_4.dll ( my nvidia driver for graphic card )
Before it was possible to complete a race.
I'm using Pcsx Playground latest builds and gsdx from 883 to 888.
I think this is worse than normal, so if you want more detail to fix this i will try to help.
(i say worse because i get a complete system lockup , not just a pcsx2 crash )

I have gta san andreas here and it doesn't look that way. Isn't this the same bug as this one? Revison 887 should have fixed that problem.

Just wanted to report

The Jade Cocoon 2 movies are playing in a black screen, they work fine on zerops though. So its definitly a gdsx bug.

Hmm, attachments don't work..
Anyway, is there a chance to get rid off the addref() and release() calls?

Check "logariphmic Z" in gsdx settings. Or use dx10 mode - it much more accurate, but will be bit slower on your rig.
