Forceware 61.76 WHQL Drivers released

was browsing through Nvidia's ftp and they've uploaded the 61.76 WHQL drivers as well as international and awhole lot of other drivers like stereo 3d! go check em out! shouldn't be too long till these are uploaded onto their website! hopefully! (crosses fingers)

32bit Forceware 61.76 WHQL Drivers

64bit Forceware 61.76 WHQL Drivers

Nvidia 6800 Demos

hehe and was reading over @ nvnews.net's forum and listen to this conspiracy theory by 'Ruined' a regular poster there:

Quote:
Okay, I know a lot of you are anxiously awaiting the release of the upcoming official Nvidia Forceware 61.76. However, before you download it, take the following into consideration:

DOOM3 - FORCEWARE 61.76 CONSPIRACY THEORY

1. First of all, Doom3 goes gold, then a day or two later, FW61.76 is posted as a web candidate release driver on NVDEV? Hmm... Not too suspicious, BUT

2. Let's analyze the driver number. 61.76. What happens when you subtract the second number in the driver from the third number 61.76? 7-1 = 6. Replace the numbers in the driver you subtracted with the new number and you get 666, the sign of satan! And the first Doom games took place in Hell! Coincidence? I think not!

3. And here is the real kicker. According to John Carmack, what is the total number of enemies in the Doom games if you add up all of them from the "Final Doom" collection? 6176

BEWARE. JOHN CARMACK IS WATCHING YOU.
ooooh spooky stuff!

*Edit* Added links to the 64bit drivers as well as the demos

Kick ass, thanks for the news. The one thing keeping me with the 56.72s were the Stereo drivers.. now I can update and be happy.

Wow.. that is pretty freaky, eh?

There are two modes, anaglyph and stereo glasses. Anaglyph are just the regualr cheapo red/cyan glasses, stereo are ones you actually hook up to the videocard. What it does is adds a stereo seperation filter to D3D/OGL games and gives the wearer of the glasses the illusion of depth in the game. It's really cool.
