Win Xp and Pete's OpenGL pc fps calc.

Hi people!
Yesterday I've installed Win xp and when I wanted to play my favorite psx emulator (Epsxe!!!!) and my favorite psx soccer game (Isspro evolution 2!!!!) I tried to understand why there's a big slow down.....seem almost that the special game fix "pc fps calculation" is gone with win xp....is it so? Or there's something I must reconfigurate on epsxe?

I use:

bios: 7502
video: pete's opengl 1.60
sound: eternal spu 1.20
cdrom: epsxe cdr wnt/w2k coe 1.5.1

help me please

Jalek

that's odd "PC FPS Calculation" should appear in special game fixes, no matter what OS your running, can you post a picture of the problem?

It's not a graphic problem, it's a speed problem! before (with win98) the speed was all right, now (with win xp) isn't so
it's the same speed before pete create his special fix "pc fps calculation" (sometimes perfect, sometimes slow) now if it's active (selected) nothing happen..
try with isspro2!!

PC FPS calculation usually won't actually change or increase your fps number, it will change the internal timing of the game. If you're getting low framerate counts, you'll have to turn down some details.

The only thing I use pc fps calc for is to speed up timing errors in games like Castlevania SOTN (even though fps is 60, there are slowdowns when the screen is "busy"), Rival Schools (even though fps is 60 there are slowdowns in tag team attacks), and in games with alot of loading like Chrono Trigger (makes subscreen access and the save and load times instantaneous).

Hi Rhombus,
I know that pc fps calculation risolve the time errors in some games and in fact I'm just sayng this thing. Since I've installed win xp pro I've "lose" this (great) feature. I don't know if it's my case only but it's TERRIBLE not to be able to play isspro ev. 2 with its natural speed as it was before
Maybe I just can wait for the epsxe xp edition (
anyway thanx!!
