There is still a way to know how many posts someone has, just try to find how, looks like fivefeet8 is our most serious guy, with more than 3000 posts in non-off topic threads.

mannnn i think almost all my post are there..mmm...looks like its time to me to help people ...sigh but the ban thing is good.

just one suggestion....to the admins put a ranking on this forums and the higher the rank the more the user can try and edit the features in this forum like iebeing the highest rank would be a moderator whic can do anything).

just a suggestion though =P

Okay, if you want it like that, I can also disable the search feature for posts from a user, the top 10 listing and the 2 other sections where you can still find the posts ... would that really make you happier Raziel ?

Well, we have something like that in place already (15 posts gets you a custom avatar, title changes as you progress through the posts, 700 posts gets you a custom title), but as for granting every high poster a moderator access.... now that's scary. Think about it.

Kronic: you still could change your title. As soon as you re-reach the required number of stars again. If you haven't already noticed, the changes are retroactive... meaning almost everyone's post count drops, since all off-topic posts don't count anymore.

How about...no. Normal users already have all the abilities they will ever need. Anything an admin can do above and beyond normal users would be a bad idea to give to anyone else, regardless of the reason.

mmmm...cool avatar ryos.. are u ryos of psxfanatics.

another suggestion....i think the ban system is good, but we must see how many points or stars have we make to get banned, so we may get cautious about it so we cannot be get banned about mm..30 days or worse premanently bannned. like we can view it in the "vbhome page" of how many ban stars points we get.

and another suggestion give the ban points a different image like ummm...a alert image.

I can see that it is hidden. Is there a way to see the post count in your user profile?

The post counts can't be seen. That's the point. I believe some people in this thread pointed out exactly why that's the case.
