How do you save on Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney?

I'm playing Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney on no$gba 2.6a. The game works fine but when i try saving in-game it tells me that the "Save failed". Any ideas on what the problem is?

Question 7 is irrelevant to my problem. My game doesn't stop, it just can't save. Every time I click "start" to save and press "ok", it says in-game that "Save Failed".

Did you set the save type to auto?

Try deleting no$gba.ini file in your no$gba folder.
