all you need to do is download desmume 0.9.4 and if you have the english version then it works perfect....... Just use the in game save not the quick save(shift+F1)

I finished the entire johto region like this and the game rocks

Do you mean to say this old version of DeSmuME does something the new ones don't...in other words I'm asking why 0.9.4 and not 0.9.5 or one of the 0.9.6 SVN versions?

Provided you have set things up correctly, as repeatedly stated in this thread, and chose Flash 512k or Auto as the NDS backup media under F11, all you have to do to save the game is to press X to access the menu or click on the "Save" icon on the lower screen. If you then close No$GBA or choose the "Save Battery file" option of No$Zoomer, your savefile will be written for good.

Has anyone managed to get trading to work? I emulated two Nintendos at the same time, but it didn't work properly. I could see that my "counterpart" entered the union room, but when I tried to make them talk together, things seem to freeze ...

Any linking ability that no$gba has is GBA ONLY. I say again DS games can't be linked when emulated.
There's no fix, there's no magical solution, they just plain can't be linked.
Whilst it's true that no$gba has some WiFi emulation it's basically only enough to bypass WiFi checks on some games for instance Pokemon Diamond and Pearl had a check right at the start which prevented them from loading on the emu. The author himself states that it does not work for ANY practical purposes yet.

Anybody able to beat red and not have the rom crashs after it restarts. It saves and goes to the credits then crashes and it reverts to the save right before i fought him. Using No$gba

no$gba + no$zoomer + firmware.bin(+ a few other files) + the bios setting.
After all that add the rudolf patch which fixes save/blackscreen problems, right now the only problem is some low fps...

it works with me but it is very slow fps isnt so good...suggestions?

platinum worked fine ion my pc very fast so im surprised this is giving me trouble

Intel processor core 2 duo 1.8 GHz

1 GB Nvidia GO 7600

1 gb ram

Windows 7

these are my pcs specifications, i dont think it would require more than that :|

Hey, signed up just to ask some questions about HG. I downloaded a copy with NO$GBA The other night and im failing to get passed the character naming at the start. You're shrunk and then it crashes to a black screen. I tried NO$Zoomer, that didnt work and neither did eNDryps Advanced. Has anyone come up with an easy solution? Thanks
