I know, but sometimes the food sets the mood, you know what I mean? I was thinking about suggesting a nice Italian place but those always seem like the first choice someone would have to take a person on a romantic date to. Don't get me wrong, I freaking love Italian but I had another idea, which is a nice sushi place or tepanyaki. Sushi would be a bit more private. Tepanyaki is more about having fun and entertainment to be shared with strangers. So it's a toss up.

Personally, I would go for sushi. It's really the better choice of the two if you go for romantic.

Exactly. I'm happy anywhere so long as it's with my girlfriend. The rest of it is just a bonus.

But shouldn't the bonus be warm, succulent, and tasty if possible?

Did you ever get an unedited version of L4D2? I heard the edited one sucks.

I did indeed. The hilarious thing is that it was half the cost of the Australian version.

I'd go for Sushi instead of Tepanyaki. That way the couple can feel it's about them. After some private encounters then Tepanyaki and fun shared with strangers can be a way to do entertaining things after having enjoyed some fun together.

Btw, people who go out this weekend: don't forget to take a camera with you and post pictures in the corresponding thread. It's not how you look but how much fun you have.

(Yep, drank too much coffee and coke today, hence the "I love you all" mood)

I think my girlfriend has a small bolt loose inside her brain sometimes..

Today, she said she was still mad about something I said on Saturday...
But, and here's the funny part, she can't remember what I had said!
And neither can I.

Do you have any other girls on rotation?

It might be worth shopping around, there's high maintanence girls and then there's ones with severe boundary issues

"On rotation" as in if I'm seeing any other girls atm, or have the opportunity to do so?

No.
Not that I've been looking..

That's weird, since most girls have eidetic memory when it comes to remembering what you said, when you said it and how you said it. Its amazing how much our perception (and subsequent encoding) is selective.

Quote:
The processes of perception routinely alter what humans see. When people view something with a preconceived concept about it, they tend to take those concepts and see them whether or not they are there. This problem stems from the fact that humans are unable to understand new information, without the inherent bias of their previous knowledge. A person’s knowledge creates his or her reality as much as the truth, because the human mind can only contemplate that to which it has been exposed. When objects are viewed without understanding, the mind will try to reach for something that it already recognizes, in order to process what it is viewing. That which most closely relates to the unfamiliar from our past experiences, makes up what we see when we look at things that we don’t comprehend.

Did a lot of things yesterday, was quite busy, but my biggest accomplishment was fixing my daughter's little bike.

Some parents are so soft. (including myself)

Too much post-modernist for my empirical taste

Specially here: "A person’s knowledge creates his or her reality as much as the truth". I can't fly by flapping my arms, no matter what my prior knowledge might be. Reality doesn't care about your preconceived notions.

It is correct outside the bounds of physics.

A cheerful man will live in a cheerful world. His bodily subcommunication brought on by his happy state will influence others into being more friendly and perceptive. His smile and free voice pitch will have people respond to him in a light hearted disposition. Re-inforcing his happy mind.

An angry-aggressive man will live in an angry world, where his aggressive or intentive demenour will turn people and circumstance against him. His snappy tone of speech will cause people to scowl and feed his anger.

Victim identities will seek reasons to justify their feelings and end up short changed. They'll act helpless and people will respond with ignorance or kindness to his victimised frame, whilst they judge his social status as both the ambivelant lowest and highest in all interaction with no command of power.

A racist will see racial injustice, a dreamer will see potential.

What would a happy optimist with an infernal amount of anger see?

Anger is intent and power is the ability to act.
Power is used only with intent.

Answering this question will give you infinite motivation.
