BTW, the guy who sent me this paper is a coworker with a masters degree in physics

C is light-speed. Theories about how faster than light movement is possible or some crap. I never clicked the link

Not necessarily possible - just kinematically compatible with special relativity (and assuming incomplete Lorentz invariance). It is compatible in the sense that causality is not violated (see sections 3.2.2 and 3.2.4). You should click the link.

In other words, more blah blah blah

k so my houses hot water heater caught fire today. Didn't hurt anything but now I have no hot water until I can replace the tank.

Something about "how water heater" and "fire" sounds like something that would only happen to me.

I'm an accountant and a tax auditor, but I do have a broad range of interests.

Sometimes I wish I'd gone into physics, but money is still my main goal

If they really wanted money they wouldn't be majoring in physics. There're more lucrative careers elsewhere, and they surely have the necessary brainpower.

EDIT: There's a lot more money outside academia:

It is a good racket, though. The director, Douglas Axe, receives a salary of $92,000, which is a heck of a lot more than I get paid (not that that means much: college professors in general aren't exactly rich). Man, if I were in this business for the money, I should have gone into creationism. By comparison, though, you might wonder how much Eugenie Scott gets paid: $77,000. I was surprised — sure, she's also making more than I am, but she's a national figure with far more experience than I have. There is also a collection of well-known people like Barbara Forrest and Kevin Padian who serve on the board of the NCSE and get paid nothing. Again, don't go into science with the expectation of riches.

So I lifted took a 40kg electric generator down two floors (some help from my aunt, not much though, she was only holding the lighter end). I was bent low during the entire time of the lift and guess what? SEVERE back ache, damn now I have some idea of how it feels like to be a 70 year old. Its not the weight that caused it (I lift 20kg water cans on an almost daily basis) but rather the awkward position as I already mentioned.

And what's the worse bit? Where everyone says "NON SENSE! You're a 16 year old! You shouldn't be having these kinds of problems lol lol lol you weakling, your diet sucks, your sleeping habits suck, you're a couch potato lol lol lol you need to work out more blah blah blah!"

Gah it didn't feel like that much of a big deal....though I suppose that's how it always like, you always come to regret it later.

Random Thought/Rant #2: The yearly budget was announced. Rs.600 billion i.e. $8 billion have been allocated for the military....which is like 50% of the total expenditure.....wow do we really need to spend that much on feeding a 600,000 strong army when the entire country's falling to pieces and the industry/commerce is literally shattering at the scenes?
