agreed, but unfortunately most people don't read faqs =/
It's annoying to keep saying over and over again, but, if you say once on the right threads, it will clear most of that job.

If a FAQ isn't the right thread, than what is?
Random threads will likely disappear in a short time and even the posts will get burried in countless reposts eventually, but a well maintained FAQ will have all the useful info up-to-date in the initial post; and be stickied to not fall out of sight. Unfortunately, there will ever be people without the common sense to look these threads up.

Thanks for tip nanaya but i managed to fix it without deleting that file, i changed the render to Direct something something instead of opengl and it seems to work fine now but it does put cpu usage to the max
The ini file u mentioned i could not find there, there was a .inp file and a .KDB file now out of these two which would you have me delete?

You must have deactivated common extensions (default in some Windows versions). The .ini files are the ones with the gear and notepad logo.

.exe, to name the most common, but any file type that has a preset Windows application: .mp3, .mpeg, .html, .txt and many more.
Unforunately, I run a hungarian Windows version, so I can't tell you the exact menu to set it, but it's under Tools->Directory Options... of a normal Explorer (not Internet Explorer) window.

This is an excellent add-on for no$gba but I really wish there was a way to get the Noise Suppressor feature to stay initialized once you cycle through to the correct setting that squelches most of the crackling. It's very annoying to have to keep cycling through after every scene to get Noise Suppression. I think this should be a priority in future builds, or at least find another way to get noise suppression working in no$gba. It's the only thing that severely mars this excellent, FAST emulator -- the frequently horrible crackly sound.

Hey everyone, sorry for this but I've had a problem that's come up three previous times in this forum before, all of which I assume to have been fixed, but after reading through all 37 pages so far I haven't been able to do such for myself.

The problem in question has to do with the EXTRA's in the Other Menu. Much like the others who had the problem when I click the options nothing is clicked. To combat this tried the suggested "PatchFlag=33" and "PatchFlag=63" edits in the .ini file, not at the same time of course, and while it does check the extras off as being on they don't actually seem to work. This wouldn't matter much but I found out I need EX1 on for the game I'm playing to display properly as I've seen in a video and seeing as how they are not working I'm out of luck this far.

I have also dled NO$GBA 2.6a from two different sources, though I cannot be sure it is actually 2.6a but I'll get to that soon, and NO$ZOOMER several times and placed them in different areas but the problem continues to persist regardless.

This is where I ask if any of you have possible help suggestions to fix or maybe you can assure me that, despite it saying that the file was No$GBA 2.6a, that it is not 2.6a and I need to get the real version to fix the problem. Thanks for your time in advance.

After read all posts.....

For work:
1° Use no$GBA V2.6a
2° Use No$Zoome last version and enable ALL Extra Options
3° after the run the first time and save you can disable all Extra options because consume much power of CPU anche the game will run very well.

Easy, true??

While it's a given that you need 2.6a to use the Extra-options, he clearly has 2.6 and cannot legally obtain 2.6a at this time.

Not always nessessary and/or helpful.

This is simply not true. If a game needs EXs, it needs them every time you run the game. They also don't need a noticable amount of extra CPU resources. For more details, see here.

What the hell are you talking about?

1.) Neither does no$gba contain a trojan, nor does No$Zoomer!
2.) You will never be able to format a computer, until today this just works with drives!
3.) Which games are you talking about? NDS ROMS are non-executable binaries which will never be affected by a PC-Virus... and especially trojans, which are Spy-programs, never will affect non-executable files.
4.) STOP downloading warez and you are fairly safe.

Change your antivirus, it gave false positives and ignored the real virus hiding in your system.

Does anyone know how to fix the issue where the game cannot access the save info? It won't let me play the game.

EDIT: Now it's just giving me a blank, black screen and crashing. I've seen the game work with No$Zoomer as it's what someone uses for their videos. Could it be because they're using Vista and I'm on XP?
