Since I got a 3DS and are all things Nintendo now, I went hunting for cheap DS games to horse around with, I mainly wanted Kirby and Chrono Trigger, and EB games had them both. Used. For $75 total. Stuff that, so I found this for $20 and was happy.

KIRBY SUPERSTAR BABY! ONE OF THE BEST GAMES OF ALL TIME!

It's here

I have played Valkyria Chronicles for about 12 hours last year if I am to believe the savedata, but I recall it to be longer, perhaps it didn't count retries. In any case, the game blew me away when it comes to art direction and it's the most refreshing use of what the current generation of consoles has to offer. I am still deeply saddened that this game has seen no sequel on the PS3 yet using the same canvas engine.

So well, I always wanted to pick up this game again, and I thought getting the art book would be a great motivation to do so. Here's some photos of it added as attachments. I took some photos, hoping to give you a proper impression of all the goodness that is stuff in this 400 pages thick book.

It truly has everything a fan could desire, and more. It includes all sorts of developer comments, a full walkthrough of the story, character descriptions complete with sketches and rejected design ideas. There's interviews too and even what seems like description of all the songs in the game. In fact it even goes as deep as explaining the shaders used and the effects it had on the character designs (seen in a batch of photos of Alicia). I got it for €35 at Amazon, and it is most definitely worth its price. 400 pages guys....

You're better off with a PS3 in that case, like I said, it's 400 pages.

About as slowly as it does system updates and game updates. I've said it before and I'll say it again, the only aspects that consoles have taken from PC gaming are the negative ones: Long installations, bug fixes, crashing hardware, bad framerates.

And they've enforced their flaws on PC gaming like lack of ability to save anywhere anytime. Marvellous.

Welcome to gaming in 2011. It's definitely more accessible than ever before, especially since we've got Steam nowadays. But the publishers have been making a huge mess out of things, there's still a lot of progress to be made. In any case, I'm off reading a bit

Forget RPGs. What you need is GT5.

While you are correct that GT5 is required, Eternal Sonata seems like one of the few RPGs that has actually made a lasting impression this generation.

I should have taken a gangsta "new PS3" pic too. It would have been with Mortal Kombat 9.

actually GT5 isn't required if you don't like racing games much I stopped playing GT at the third game.

I did enjoy Eternal Sonata went as far as doing everything in the x360 version.
