I'd prefer something more recent

I'll check it out though, heard good things about it.

Hmm the most modern thing (though it's also 10 years old by now) that I can think of is Malcolm and Eddie which I enjoyed but I'm not sure I would call it good.

I don't think any exist these days.

Just watched Sherlock and damn... I have to say I liked this. This is so much better than the recent movies, even with the change to the modern age which sounded bad choice at first but instead the stories are ingenious... Although that is not so suprising considering it has the same writers as Doctor Who, Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat. And that acually shows, it has a similar umm...feel to it. Now all I gotta do is wait for the third season.

Oh snap, several discs in the Star Trek Next Generation season 1 blu-ray release has issues with surround sound, where channels are reversed or something, screwing up the experience. The discs will be replaced by Paramount or something which is cool.

The show looks gorgeous, can't wait to watch it in HD from the real 35mm print instead of upscaled vhs quality from the dvd's. The before and after shots are remarkable.

Watched every episode of House, Season 1 Pilot to Season 8 "Everybody lies"

I give it a 10/10, solely for the interactions between Wilson and House. The rest of the show is soso after the 5 season, and to me house lost his edge in the 8th Season. Hugh Luarie is a fantastic actor, and gives some killer lines.

What gets me is that the show would be alot better if they didn't force dramatic scenes onto House. Laurie is not his best doing such scenes, he's at his best doing comedic scenes.

I love his attitde towards people, how he is unashamedly direct.

Like when talking to a nurse, he tells her to "Shut up and quit babbling, if you keep this up your going to owe me sex"

Another good line is "Hey Wilson, im at the C.I.A., they have satellites here that are so powerful that they can see Cuddy's vagina from space. I told them it was no use though, as there is absolutely no chance of invasion."

I also like the amount of betting House initiates,

Sherlock is one of my top, if not *THE* top, show I have ever seen. I absolutely love it. I just hate how we have to wait so long for the third season to start but the two main actors do have good reason for their "hiatus" from the show...of course Martin Freeman is playing the famous Bilbo Baggins in the upcoming Hobbit film. Not only that, but Benedict Cumberbatch is also in the Hobbit film as the voice of the dragon Smaug. So, I forgive them.

Lol but I cannot wait for Sherlock to come back in 2013!!! <3 I can't wait to see how Watson is going to react when he sees Sherlock again. <3

I tried to watch it when it came from TV here... But the irregular schedule made me lose track of it. Sometimes it was monday midnight and sometimes it was wednesday midnight or saturday 2 am... And it also seemed to jump between seasons, damn annoying. The show itself was interesting so I've been thinking about trying to find it online somewhere... When I find time.

I really liked the stories, reminded me of X-Files when it was still good and the characters were awesome... Especially Bishop!

I have never seen the X Files before but my boyfriend has. He said the show is similar to Fringe with the fact that they are solving supernatural cases.

You totally need to get into it again. I love it. It's been such a fun show to watch. I'm currently in the 3rd season. Soon I'll be watching the 4th season and finish that one hopefully in time the 5th season starts.

But really Radix, you should totally get it and watch it again! <3 It's worth it! I promise! <3

Watching Police Squad!, funny how I haven't seen it before... Maybe I should track down more of Nielsen stuff that I haven't seen.

Maybe I'll try to find it after I'm finished with Nielsen... And you should try X-files BTW, you've missed something great! Excluding the movies and the last seasons(those after Duchovny left it).

Anybody else find it really weird when longtime actors on one show suddenly show up in another?

Like Lana Lang (or rather Kristin Kreuk) appearing in Chuck Season 3 (and sort of getting together with Chuck) just seems so awfully wrong.

Yeah, I know what you mean... When an actor becomes famous for one role it's kinda hard to think them in another.

The one that got me was was when Jensen Ackles left Smallville for Supernatural.

I still can't watch Supernatural because of that.
