What settings avoid sound skipping on Baten Kaitos 1?

Stats: i5 3.3 quad
GeForce gtx 560 ti
4 gigs ram
1680x1050 monitor (don't think any other stats are relevant)

Current settings:
General

dx9 full res
aspect ratio auto
vsync off
fullscreen

Enhancements

internal res is at auto multiple of 640 528 because if I scale it, the picture scales but the static environments don't and you have to guess where you should be walking if the game was less wide
no AA
Filtering at 8x
Scaled EFB Copy and Per Pixel Lighting on

Hacks

Skip EFB
ignore format changes
EFB copies on texture
accuracy to fast
external frame buffer disabled
disabled per pixel depth is on
opnmp texture decoder is on

advanced
progressive scan is on and is widescreen hack

Everything not listed is off.

General in config

dual core
idle skipping
framelimit auto
JIT Recompiler

audio is dsp hle emulation
audio backend is dsound
sample rate 48k

What settings do I change? My pc can emulate most wii games really well, it surprises me that baten kaitos makes it skip. The audio skipping is the really noticeable thing, I'd like that changed if at all possible

Also, maybe it's something wrong with my permissions, but saving the game stalls the game indefinitely. The saving bar will stay up. It will save in the proper place, but I have to restart the game every time I save. Running as administrator does not fix it

You need to set DSP to DSP LLE Emulation in Audio settings for perfect sound
