Anywho, here's a couple videos I did just about an hour ago.
Is there a notable delay at all? The rubber covers for my drums are ok but still somewhat loud so this would be perfect for practicing while my flatmates are home.

Put something together tonight out of boredom. Inspired by Saturn-era Sega games (Virtua Cop, etc). As always, not much is programmed; drums/keyboards were played by moi, and anything I played even slightly out of time (ie, 1/10 ms is unacceptable ) was fixed program-side. 4/4, 110bpm, in the key of D. I'm really pleased with the ghost notes on the snare drum, and the 16th note triplets on the hihat during the bridge.

new song 1.mp3

Or this. Ray Luzier is the most tasteful drummer I've ever listened to. As for your question about Rock Band drums on PC; as with all midi devices, there's no discernable delay if you use an ASIO driver (such as ASIO4ALL) with a buffer size < 256 or so. If you use your raw wave out driver, there's going to be a huge, unusable delay.

I know this is an old thread, but I didn't want to make a new one for the same purpose. Got a new Guitar Hero set and I've been playing some Metallica on it. One thing is for sure: this new set is MUCH more responsive and improved in just about every way over the old one I had from World Tour. I'm still a bit rusty (stopped playing for a considerable amount of time again) so I bricked it in a few places, but not too bad. I did a capture playing Master Of Puppets, but I'm gonna hold off on posting it til I do it better.

Got some new sticks. The Ahead Lars Ulrich signature drumsticks. They're considerably heavier than the stock 5A sticks that came with the set, but are nicer to use overall.

Also, here's a couple videos I've done recently: Master Of Puppets and Enter Sandman.

Nice sticks, even though signed by a below average drummer with a big mouth I had Danny Carey sticks somewhere but lost them :/ And haven't been drumming since I sold my set, the only thing I'm left with is a Rock Band 1 set which is loud as hell and has no rebound at all, damn it.

A little tune written in fond remembrance of my days playing Sega Saturn; specifically, admiring AM2's beautiful Virtua Fighter/Virtua Cop games.
