I can get past that point now, playing normally. I got stuck after Sylvia's phone call, when taking the luchador mask. The controller kept responding, thought (using the Home button).

EDIT: if you avoid the luchador mask, you can save the game. If you don't save and load the game right afterwards, you get stuck into permanent "cell-phone-walk-mode" (even in the boss fight). Nevertheless, you can't deliver the final hit, since it gets stuck again.

Hmmm... i made a tiny 'breakthrough'. It appears that certain conditions must be met in order to watch the final hit cutscene in order to beat the boss. Coupled with my previous post instructions, here's what i did to get past #9 (maybe some things can be skipped, i'll just write what i did):

- Load the save game. Take the battery and health items, don't take the luchador mask, though (it will hang).
- Get into the boss fight. Skip the cutscene.
- Fight and leave the boss with only a bit of energy, enough to take it out in one fully charged low hit. He will counter with the guns, and you'll get thrown back.
- Take the health and battery items, get close to the boss.

If it didn't worked, it will look like you're stuck in the animation (you can skip pressing plus 2 times and then the random button, but it will hang indefinitely after that). If everything went well, you can see the Duel cutscene before pressing the final random button and killing the boss.

I tested this method twice, both in OGL & D3D.

D3D rocks BTW, great frame rate and speed over OGL, can't believe how much it improved in so little time.

erm...i know most people here have a c2d build comp and i was wodering if NMH would work with what comp i plan to build:

*AMD Anthlon x2 5600
*2GB RAM
*<video card pending; any of the cheap geforce series 9 vcards>

(yes i'm dirt poor T_T)

i did see a guy play brawl with almost the same spec as that (youtube!) but i'm bothered if NMH would run it

Smiley.Desu,

To be honest an Athlon X2 seems a bit weak for trying to play NMH. I would say a Core 2 Duo/Quad would be minimum, Core i7 recommended.

i was afraid someone'll say that..but an i7...wow...that isn't even sold at the local trading forums in my town o_o

guess i have to endure hunger strikes a lil bit more...

btw...can someone post a video of how fluid their gameplay on NMH is?

i7 aren't THAT much faster for dolphin anyway, a decently clocked Core2 or a reasonably recent Athlon should be fine for most games (some games still don't run fast on any PC).

While waiting for my Core i5 to arrive, i can report you that you can get past Shinobu (4697). I'm currently playing it more to see how far i can get.
