It works really nicely in Batman AA and basically doesn't affect my frame rate at all.

Hmm, enabling sharpening helps reclaim some details lost to the smoothing, but I wish it didn't sharpen too much.

Here are a few comparison screens from Assassins Creed: Brotherhood at 1920x1080. I'm using the new version 9 and have tweaked the effect a bit in the shader program.

Do you have the post processing filter on? (or does Brotherhood no longer have that like AC2?)

Well in AC2 the post processing filter is a terrible filter that makes everything look like trash so if it's on in Brotherhood try turning it off.

Unreal Tournament 3 at 1920x1080. First shots are with FXAA and seconds are without.

Tried a bit with GTAIV: Episodes from Liberty City with great results. At 1680x1050 the smoothing is much nicer, especially considering the only other way to get AA in this game is to run the ENB Series mod, it does blur the menu's somewhat, but it really isn't too bad. The softness gives it a nicer feel I think.

The screenshots where there is white around the mini map are without FXAA.

It's really hard to tell from that site whether it actually does anything. His example shots are quite terrible.

Just use it and press PAUSE to toggle it and see the difference yourself. It's indeed less blurry but also less noticeable than FXAA. Works decently on straight lines for what I've checked so far. There's also the video showing the "temporal" one: SMAA Homepage, on the downloads section.

Currently, FXAA only enables on OpenGL applications.
Dolphin revisions 3.0-751 or greater works FXAA in DirectX 9 or DirectX 11 ?
