can't load saved games

i'm farely new to this specific emulator and i tried running a few different roms, and they all worked fine and i could play them without any problems except one. Whenever i saved it creates a save file but i can't figure out how to load it.

NeonDS has to be set with the correct savetype, same as no$gba for saves to be made and for the game to run correctly. If you get the savetype wrong then the game may run but it can't save propperly.
