Etrian Odyssey
Someone else was having this same problem (or at least I got this impression) and apparently figured it out and didn't bother to explain how. So... I've got v2.6 and I've set my savetype to eeprom 64k and saved the settings. But the games not actually saving when I in game save. From fooling around I know that save states don't do anything more than crash the emulator. So what am I doing wrong? |

Donation doesn't work right now. Also, Eeprom 64Kb is the correct save type for that game. Just wondering, after you changed the setting, did you restart the emu (ie. close the emu then run it again)? Also, does your game's file name contain any special characters?

the save type mentioned by Pancaek is the correct one. so the problem must be some thing else. |

Okay yeah I did close the emulator and re-open it. But I saved the options and it re-opens with the correct savetype loading. There's no special characters in the rom name or the path to it so it can't be that. It may help to know that the error the game gives me just says 'no save data present'. |

That's rather odd, since I don't get that message unless I didn't save the game. Try deleting the ini file in your no$gba folder.

I never heard of this game have a patch. Anyways, do you have bios files file in your no$gba folder. If not then you should dump those files and put them in your no$gba folder.
