(WII) Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn (PAL) Freeze

So far the game's run more or less perfectly (minus a few crashes, but nothing serious). However, at Part 4 Endgame 1, after Micaiah promotes into a Light Priestess, I'm given a black screen and the FPS goes down to 0. Often it just crashes without giving me an error message, but sometimes I get "DSI exception in stmw" and occasionally "DSI exception in lmw" as well. I'm running Windows 7 64 bit and Dolphin build 7658, although I've tried on several other builds and the problem remains. This problem doesn't seem to be common so I'm a bit of a loss as to what to do. Thanks.
