Thanks for reopening the thread RF, it was a great place to show off newly acquired stuff and talk about the first impressions

Since I'm the OP of the original thread, I'd like to announce just a simple few basic "rules" for first time posters in this thread.

1. This thread is purely made for the people who take pride in building up a nice collection, a picture of your collection would be a great start actually.
2.a We're image whores, so just an announcement that you got a new game won't do, make a picture of the box, especially if it's a limited edition
2.b We don't care about crappy cams, but in case you really have none, not even on your cellphone or a webcam, then a stock photo or perhaps a screenshot can do fine as well.
3. It's all about first impressions of course, it'd be great to hear your opinion on the packaging, the manual, but also first impressions of the game if you decided to play it right away.
4. Have fun, none will sue you for not following these guidelines, but it will make it much more fun for everyone

I'd post a pic of my recently bought Left4Dead, but my camera battery is dead

Great game. A bit shorter then what I imagined, but still a fun play. The online stuff should hold me over until F.E.A.R 2 arrives

Imaginary photographs of an Orange Box, Command and Conquer Generals (origianl and Zero Hour expansion) and Need For Speed ProStreet have been posted here, till material 32bits versions replace them.

We still can't post pictures, imagine Pikmin, Skies of Arcadia for the Gamecube and Silent Hill 3 and Sukoden 4 for the Playstation 2.

I'll have a few PC games I've recently purchased, I'll post in game screenshots when we can post pictures.

Its pretty good

I enjoy hitting the nitrous and making the CPU opponents crash into stuff

EDIT:
Oi I am really surprised nobody has called me out on my dodgy Farcry 2 "Custom" case I got FC2 free when I upgraded my GPU

Which Video Card? I was thinking of upgrading next month *actually Jan 30th*, and one of the cards is on that deal.

Are the cars still unnamed FlatOut only cars? It turned me off not having recognisable licenced cars in the original FlatOut (although A Ferrari would not make much sense in this sort of racing, but something like a Dodge Challenger would).

I'd post pics of my Valkyria Chronicles and NWN2: Storm Of Zephyr... But I can't so I'm just going to say that Valkyria Chronicles is without a doubt the best PS3 game so far... Storm of Zephyr on the other hand, the only good things about it are the new features like classes, p-classes, magics and stuff. The campaign just sucks...

Industrian would almost agree with you about Valkyria with the exception of MGS4 I'm really interested in that game as well, and to be honest it's those two games that can make me sway to the Playstation front in due time.

Storm of Zephyr... I've read it's more like Icewind Dale than Baldur's Gate. Proper party play with everyone's skills taken into account but no real good story. A shame, that's what I play these games for. I had hoped for another Mask of the Betrayer, that game was awesome. I'd rather play a new story with the old classes, I haven't played them all anyway. I'll skip this one for the time being. Are there already some decent user content and online persistent worlds?
