Cxbx progress
Looking at Cxbx I found that it is updating by someone called "dstien" and as you can see he made a lot of revisions of it, does anyone know him? Anyway the revision 105 (1 day ago) was made by Caustik is only a copy (Copied remotely) but it probe he still interested in XBOX emulation, correct me if I´m wrong. I maintain the dstien/wip branch. It's derived from Martin's branch as I haven't studied blueshogun96's changes yet. I've mainly targeted Futurama (XDK 5233). Here are some screenshots...

hehehe nisse yah screenshots are looking good. my qeustion is simple.. how you people are working with all those branches ? is there a root where all changes are comming 2gether. or are you all yust working your own way and pick the changes from other branhces you like ? or will there come a root branch where best of all the other code is comming 2gether ? |

Hmmm. It's been quite a while since I've had any online time, or else I would have replied sooner. I was thinking about buying Futurama for Cxbx earlier, then I thought to myself, "Futurama? Naw, I bet that game will N-E-V-E-R work!". You proved me wrong, great! I'll try to buy the NTSC version this weekend and see if it works. If you want to see what changes I made, you'll need to download the source and do a search within the entire solution for my nick (shogun). If you need me to explain things personally, let me know. My online time is serverely limited right now, but I still do have some time on my hands (about 3 hours a day). Thanks and take care. EDIT: I didn't notice you had got Celebrity Death Match working too. I have that game, but never thought to try it. What debugging techniques do you use?

I hope that one day I be able to play morrowind in this emulator, I got an xbox and the morrowind game as well (game of the year edition with all expansions). hopefully this emulator speeds up in progress with heart & soul together.

You can always play the PC version of Morrowind, so you can also use mods. I'd never play on an emulator a game that is also available for PC, unless the emulated version gives me something that the PC version does not. What I am waiting for a decent version of Cxbx for is to play games that were NEVER ported to PC! Like Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance, Deception and Armageddon, Panzer Dragoon Orta, Munch's Oddysee, Outrun 2 (because Outrun 2006, which WAS ported to PC, does not contain the circuits of Scud Race and Daytona USA 2), Steel Battalion, Batman Begins, Spikeout: Battle Street, Spider-Man 2 (because the PC version was a completely different game)...

Afaik, it's against the rules to do that and start distributing it accross the forums. You'll have to compile it yourself. You can download a copy of Visual C++ express (at least I'm sure you still can), and then compiling is easy. @Chrono, thank you sir. That was awfully nice of you to do that for me ![]() I started working on some fixes for the NTSC version of BattleStar Galactica. It shows the intro and loading screens, but a memory related problem causes it to crash.

Somebody already tested Halo? would be glad to see any progress there I remember running an emu that could at least show the titlescreen..
